Chalet Stephie

Chalet Stephie continues to be a favourite among returning guests. This two winter seasons ago specially for our company built, attractive Savoyarde chalet is very convenient for the 6 persons chairlift. From the chalet you can ski within a few minutes to the chairlift with a quick access to Aime La Plagne. At the end of the day you can ski back to your chalet via an unpisted track.
The chalet is located just below Plagne 1800 in a part of La Plagne which is unique because of the absence of high buildings from the 70's, consisting only authentic and typical houses in combination with brand new ski chalets like ours. Chalet Stephie is fitted out to a high standard with an open plan living an dining area with a log-burning stove, a flatscreen-tv, a HiFi sound system and a DVD player. All bedrooms are with private shower/bath and wc. Hair dryer in each room. After a day skiing you can use the sauna in this chalet. The chalet has internet access. From the large terrace you have spectacular views on the valley and on the Bellecôte glacier.

Every morning an extensive breakfast. When you go skiing the chalet staff will clear the table and taking care of the housekeeping. After skiing there is a hearty or sweet afternoon tea and in the evening the chalet staff serving a delicious three course dinner including wine in your own chalet.

La Plagne

The Village

Set high in the magnificent Savoie French Alps, La Plagne is one of the most famous and exciting high altitude ski areas in the world. Linked to Les Arcs by the Vanoise Express lift, the 'Paradiski' area offers 425km of pistes. La Plagne is made up of 11 'villages'. Our hamlet is Plangagnant La Roche where recently a 6 persons chairlift has been placed connecting Aime La Plagne. It is an old hamlet of traditional chalets at the edge of the forest facing the bobsleigh olympic track. The lively La Plagne Centre is only 3km away.

The Ski Area

La Plagne is a collection of eleven linked ski centres at altitudes from 1250 to 2100 metres. For a family holiday, or a group of varied ability, it's ideal. It offers reliable snow and direct access to the magnificent Paradiski area which links La Plagne to Les Arcs with 425kms of runs, three glaciers and tow peaks above 3000m. Wide-open motorway skiing above the tree-line and gladed trails through the forest below it are the main features of the ski area. These are coupled with gentle beginner pistes and some truly outstanding off-piste if you know where to find it. You need a guide to discover the long, sweeping descent from the Glacier de Bellecôte down to Les Bauches, as well as the challenging Cul du Nant run from the back of the glacier into the Champagny-le-Haut valley. Boarders also have the park at Plagne Soleil to whet their appetites.
